Privacy policy

Seroq is run by eDev Solutions, which is the controller of the personal data described here. For anything about your data, write to info@edevsolutions.com.

• Account. Your email address and a password, which is stored only as a hash. We cannot read it.
• What you enter. The brands you add: name, website, category, market, competitor names and the buyer questions you approve.
• What we produce for you. Your reports, including the text of the AI answers they are based on, and the results of the site check.
• Sharing settings. Email addresses you add so clients receive reports, and, on the Agency plan, the name and logo you put on them.
• Billing. Your plan and whether the subscription is active. Payment itself is handled by Polar. We never receive your card number.
• Technical logs. IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept by our hosting provider to run and protect the site.
• The free site check. The website address you type in. Your IP address is used for a few minutes to limit abuse and is not stored with the result.

We do not ask for, and you should not enter, sensitive personal information such as health or financial details about any person.

• To run the service you signed up for: measuring your brands, producing reports and showing them to you and to the people you share them with. Our legal basis is our contract with you.
• To send you emails about your account and your reports. You can switch report emails off in Settings.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix faults. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe service.
• To meet legal duties, such as keeping records of transactions.

We do not sell your data, we do not show advertising, and we do not use your reports to promote Seroq unless you agree to it first.

To measure a brand, Seroq sends the buyer questions you approved to the AI engines listed below, and sends each answer, together with the brand name, website address and competitor names, to a language model that reads it. Buyer questions are written as an anonymous buyer would ask them.

Your email address, your password and your payment details are never sent to any AI engine. Please do not put personal information about anyone into brand names or questions.

These companies process data on our behalf, under their own terms and security measures. The list is generated from the services that are switched on, so it is always current.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to a buyer of the business, who would be bound by this policy.

The companies above operate in several countries, including the United States and countries in the European Union. Your data may therefore be processed outside the country you live in. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the standard contractual terms those providers offer.

• Your account, brands and reports are kept for as long as your account is open, so that you can see your history and trends.
• When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and everything in it within 30 days. Copies in routine backups are overwritten on the backup cycle after that.
• Billing records are kept by Polar for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Technical logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period, usually no more than 30 days.

• See and export your data: every report can be downloaded as PDF, CSV and raw evidence from inside the app.
• Correct it: edit your brands, questions and settings at any time.
• Delete it: write to us and we will delete your account and everything in it.
• Object, or ask us to limit what we do with your data, by writing to us.
• Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

To use any of these, write to info@edevsolutions.com from the email address on your account. We reply within 30 days.

Seroq uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in, plus one short-lived cookie that returns you to the page you wanted after signing in. Your report display choices are remembered in your browser’s local storage. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics or tracking.

If you switch on a share link for a brand, anyone who has the link can read that brand’s reports without signing in. Share links are long random addresses and are not listed anywhere. You can switch a link off at any time, and it stops working immediately.

The site check reads public pages of the website you enter, the same way a search engine does, and identifies itself as SeroqBot. It reads only pages that are publicly reachable, does not sign in anywhere and does not submit forms. If you run a website and do not want it checked, write to us.

Data is encrypted in transit. Each account can only reach its own brands and reports, which is enforced in the database itself. Access to the systems is limited to the people who need it. No online service can promise perfect security, so if you believe your account has been misused, tell us straight away.

Seroq is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
